Office of General Counsel of the U.S. House of Representatives (“OGC”)

The OGC provides legal advice and assistance to Members, committees, officers and employees of the House, without regard to political affiliation, on matters related to their official duties. The OGC represents Members, committees, officers and employees, both as parties and witnesses, in litigation arising from or relating to the performance of their official duties and responsibilities. The OGC also represents the House itself in litigation, both as a party and as amicus curiae in cases in which the House has an institutional interest.

A commercial photographer and photo stylist based in Chicago, Il. She has a diverse background and jack-of-all-trades skill set resulting in a rich career as a producer, project manager, photo stylist, and most currently a photo art director.

 

Lorraine has recently added a BFA in Advertising Art Direction from Columbia College Chicago to her curriculum vitae.

Half Acre Cycling

Half Acre Cycling is a small club who focus is on the attitude and the spirit of the team rather than overall results. A USAC-licensed Chicago-based cycling club of female and male cyclists in categories 3-5 in
cyclo-cross, mountain, track and road disciplines, including USAC-licensed officials, coaches, and mechanics. As of now BMX, observed trials, and downhill are not included.

 

In 2010, Half Acre Cycling hosted 5 crits and two clinics, along with co-hosting two cyclocross races, a series of women's dirt rides, a gravel metric century race, and a night at the track. We keep busy.

 

Half Acre Cycling is also known for their loud and friendly cheering section, their traveling race-day tent, and their tasty sponsor product - which is always flowing!
